ILLUMINATOR'S BOLE

RAISING PREPARATION (NON POISONOUS)

The Illuminators Bole is a non poisonous raising preparation. Made from an early 12th century manuscript based on middle east gilding adhesives. Nothing synthetic here ! It attaches Gold and any other metal easily. Requires breathing on to activate, but can be delayed easily for a week if the user needs to stop. Reactivation is easy.

As compared to Instacoll, PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING. According to Kolner,(the manufacturer) Instacoll has a shelf life of 2 years. Instacoll does not have attaching capabilities after 48 hours. In other words, You can breath on the Instacoll, but the Gold will NOT adhere. An activator is necessary to have the Gold attach. The shine is lost. Even though Instacoll is a raising synthetic adhesive, it does NOT dry seamlessly if a 2nd layer is required. Instacoll must be polished with a Hematite burnisher directly and if there are any blemishes or minor imperfections on the face of the item in question, it will be carried over once the Gold is applied. WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET !. And most importantly, Instacoll is unforgiving. Once applied , however it dries, IS YOURS TO KEEP !
